WELCOME TO CALMLAKES TRAINING
Hi, my name is Roger Schwalm.
I have been teaching medical courses for over 23 years to the military and civilians.
My desire is to bring Awareness, Education, and Skills of CPR AED, First Aid, ACLS and PALS to the community.
I do this by educating healthcare providers, childcare workers, caregivers, and the general public on how to respond to cardiac arrest and emergencies.
All Cards are issued by the American Heart Association!
We Accommodate Large and Small Groups!
We work with your schedule - days, nights, weekdays, and weekends!
We go where you need us!

The ACLS Instructor-led course teaches the importance of preventing cardiac arrest, high-performance teams, early and continuous high-quality CPR, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, post-cardiac arrest care, acute dysrhythmias, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS).
Throughout your PALS course, you'll learn to assess, recognize and provide high-quality care to pediatric patients experiencing life-threatening medical emergencies, including shock, cardiac and respiratory events, as well as how to provide care after the return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) during a resuscitation
In Any Life-and-Death Situation, Knowing CPR is Always Important.
If medical assistance is taking too long to arrive, having the skills to perform CPR or First Aid is extremely helpful.
Are you a parent, grandparent or a caregiver?
The BLS Course teaches rescuers to effectively recognize and treat infant, child and adult emergencies in the critical first minutes until emergency medical services personnel arrive.
Students will learn both single-rescuer and team basic life support for adults, children and infants through 5 interactive exercises, scenarios and a written test. Students learn how to recognize life-threatening emergencies, provide high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilation and provide early use of an AED. Course also teaches the relief of choking.
Certification cards are issued at completion of course.
